My work is often inspired by small details, everyday observations that grow into whole small worlds of imagination and fantasy. In my pictures I also include little details to make the situation look more “realistic” in a way that the character is put in a surrounding where everything fits together into a small, functioning universe.
At first glance people often consider the resulting images to be funny, cute or comic-like. But if you take a closer look you can sometimes spot a more serious side of the picture as well.
